Light blue sweater with a round neck

The soft, serene and slightly romantic blue colour simply invites spring. This light round neck sweater is always a great choice! It could be worn to work with classic trousers or a skirt, for the leisure time – with jeans. Such sweaters live up to the phrase “less is more”. No elaborate details, only classic raglan seams, round neck and minimalist knit edges. Also extremely light, soft and pleasant to wear. This is a knit for those who value comfort and versatility.
By the way, the light blue colour is for a long time now categorised as a classic colour. Be sure – this sweater will fit perfectly into your wardrobe!
All k.N.itty sweaters and dresses have a loose oversized silhouette, making them suitable for women wearing both XS and XL sizes (EU 34-44). To help you find your way around, here are the body measurements of the models shown in the photos:
Younger model (me): chest 85 cm, waist 66 cm, hips 92 cm, height 162 cm. Usually wears XS - S (EU 34-36).
Older model (my mother): chest 104 cm, waist 90 cm, hips 103 cm, height 164 cm. Usually wears size L-XL (EU 42-44).
Knitwear made from natural wool delights us with its comfort and warmth, but also requires precise care.
Unlike other textile fibres, wool can refresh itself simply by hanging in the fresh air. If your knitwear is foul- smelling, just take it out to the patio or balcony (ideally if the weather is cooler and moist) and leave overnight. Odours will evaporate and the knitwear will be pleasant to wear again.
Stained knitwear should be hand- washed in cool water. It is best to use special wool detergents, you could find them in any supermarket. Soak the knitwear for half an hour (do not rub) and squeeze out the excess water with a towel. Lay the knits on a dry towel and let them dry horizontally. Do not hang until dry.
Knitwear should not be ventilated or dried in direct sunlight, as its colour may fade. Do not tumble dry because wool stretches easily.
Sometimes woollen products (cashmere much less often) tend to pill, but this is a natural feature of this fibre. You can easily remove the pilling with a special wool comb. Usually, you do not even need to repeat this process a second time!
