MY STUDIO

“Oh, let’s not judge a book by its cover!” – I would answer to all those who ask incredulously – “Where? In the garage?” Indeed, in the former customs warehouses, surrounded by the car services and garages, you will find a very cosy corner that has already turned into my second home. As my personal home became increasingly occupied by yarn, knitting tools and knits, I realized my need for extra space. My husband unexpectedly and somewhat hesitantly offered me to settle in his workshop, I, after thinking everything through, agreed! Of course, a lot has changed since the old tires were stored in a 60 square meter room. Every year in my studio appears a new piece of furniture, “art installation” (that is what I call them) and if I cannot think of anything new, I simply rearrange the wardrobes and buy fresh flowers. In September, when children are excited to start the new school year with their new pencils, I am excited about my renewed studio. 😉 For me, the new year begins in September together with the beginning of the knitting season. It is not a secret that people rarely express gratitude to their loved ones (especially in public). However, everything you see in my studio is created by my husband’s Andrius hands. I am sincerely proud of him and delighted to have such room to create, work and even rest from household worries. My studio is a place to store knitwear, pack the orders and meet with everyone who would like to see and touch my knits for themselves. It is always cosy and nice in there. Well, will you stop by?
